Suspek Curi Ubi Kentang Tampil, Akui tidak terlibat.

Pada 10 Januari 2013, Polis Selangor telah mendedahkan 2 wajah suspek kes curi ubi kentang yang bernilai RM100 Ribu. Namun, begitu sehari selepas itu salah seorang suspek dimaksudkan telah tampil untuk membela diri dan mededahkan bahawa beliau seperti yang telah disangka tidak terlibat langsung dalam kes curi ubi kentang tersebut.

Suspek yang menggelar dirinya Amir Si Tonjang mengatakan beliau agak bengang kecewa dan malu apabila mendapat tahu wajahnya dipaparkan dalam orang yang dikehendaki ketika ini.

Menurutnya beliau, belaiu menafikan bahawa  tidak terlibat langsung dengan kes tersebut malah ketika kejadian itu berlaku beliau sedang bekerja dalam bidang cari gali(Petronas) di pejabatnya, Kerteh.

salam guys , maybe some of u may know or dont know , that something bad have happen to me , this pass few days , as i have been wanted by police for potato-ring syndicate that happen on 2th to 8 th jan , at klang and also kota damansara ,
honestly , on that day i was work at my plant at kerteh , was not somewhere near or at klang or kota damansara hopefully police will able to sort this things out , as im consider myself as victim of a system and procedure .

this case cause me and my family sufferer dearly as people start to asking about whether it's true or not . and

dear god Allah as the most mighty and mercifully and and im swear that i have nothing to do or subject or even at the location at the crime or member of the syndicate , as im in kerteh terengganu working

hopefully my cooperation will ease up the situation that happen , i willing to give my full support to help police on this case , and also to clear my name and to bring peace for my family pls share with everyone u know

Jika dakwan itu benar, mungkin beliau menjadi mangsa khianat sindiket yang menggunakan identitinya. Lagipun, tidak mungkin wujud kesilapan mengenalpasti suspek kerana Pihak Polis bertindak berdasarkan bukti.
